JUST IN: LPM hits back at Witbooi
The Landless People's Movement (LPM) has rubbished claims by Keetmanshoop rural constituency councillor Gertjie Witbooi, who accused the party leader Bernadus Swartbooi of a witch-hunt.
On Sunday, Witbooi burned the party flag at Aroab, while some party members booed the party leadership.
In a statement this morning, LPM national spokesperson Lifalaza Simataa said Witbooi has painted himself as a victim while he hurled insults at Swartbooi.
He so pointed out that Witbooi used underhanded tactics to paint himself as an unsung hero or victim and that he was in fact suspended because of his conduct.
