Breaking News: MEIYSAC unveiled 2025–2030 Strategic Plan

Deputy minister, Dino Ballotti said that 148 permanent classrooms and 66 pre-primary classrooms are under construction across Namibia’s 14 regions, with completion targeted before the 2027 academic year. A further 25 schools are planned across 10 regions, with 22 already at roof level. Another 150 pre-primary classrooms are also under construction.

“Our decongestion plan is in full effect,” he said. 

Additionally, the ministry also plans to connect more than 300 additional schools to the internet and upgrade at least four vocational training centres into TVET colleges.
