The students are spread across 71 registered training providers nationwide.Ballotti described the intake not merely as students, but as “13 512 entrepreneurs” in the making, underscoring government’s emphasis on skills development as a pathway to economic participation and job creation. He also confirmed that the College of the Arts has officially been incorporated into the Namibia Training Authority (NTA), marking a significant structural shift within the vocational education sector. Government, he said, has been advocating for infrastructure upgrades and renovations at the College of the Arts’ various campuses to strengthen vocational training under the NTA framework. The incorporation is expected to align the institution more closely with national skills development priorities and broaden access to accredited vocational programmes.
