SHORTS: Man dies at Nkurenkuru annual expo
A 29-year-old man died in the early hours of Saturday after reportedly falling on a metal object at the Nkurenkuru expo.
The incident occurred around 01:49 at the event grounds, according to Chief Inspector Raimbert Muronga. The deceased, identified as Gideon Hausiku Tenga, was attending the annual expo when the tragic accident happened.
He was rushed to the Nkurenkuru Lutheran medical health centre but was declared dead upon arrival at around 03:15.
His next of kin have been informed, and his body has been transported to the Nkurenkuru police mortuary for further handling and investigation.
