What working in HR consulting has taught me

One of the things I have come to appreciate about working in human resources is that no two organisations are ever the same. The more I enter different workplaces, sit in different rooms and engage with different people, the more I realise that HR is not simply about managing employees. It is about understanding businesses, people and the spaces where the two intersect.This is one of the perspectives I have gained through my experience at Totus Consulting Working in HR consulting provides a different lens from working within a single organisation. You encounter different industries, organisational cultures, leadership approaches and workplace challenges. You quickly learn that there is no “one-size-fits-all” HR solution.
