Woman dies next to boyfriend

A 31-year-old woman died while she was in bed with her boyfriend at a home in the DRC informal settlement in Swakopmund on Saturday.
The Erongo police regional commander for community affairs, Inspector Ileni Shapumba, confirmed the incident.
"The deceased, Padelia Nghiimbwasha, passed away at home. Her boyfriend travelled from Karibib the previous day for a visit. They were in bed and he noticed that something was wrong with her. He informed the deceased's aunt who then summoned the police and an ambulance. No foul play is suspected so far and no unusual/suspicious clues were detected at the scene. The next of kin of the deceased have been informed."
The body was taken to the Swakopmund State Hospital for death certification and storage. A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
