Uerikuas laid to rest

GO WELL: Late Swapo member of parliament and former Otjozondjupa governor James Uerikua and his son Ventura Uerikua were buried in Gam, Otjozondjupa Region, yesterday. Mourners gathered to pay their final respects after the pair died in a car accident on 3 April along the Okakarara–Otjiwarongo road. They were laid to rest in a ceremony attended by Namibians from all walks of life, including Vice-President Lucia Witbooi. Photo: Namibian Presidency
