SHORT: Water supply interruption hit Lüderitz
NamWater has announced a temporary water supply interruption for Lüderitz due to a significant leak on the main pipeline.
As a result, water supply to the town’s reservoir will be temporarily shut down on 15 May, from 08:00 to 15:00.
NamWater warned that reservoir levels may be low following the repairs, and normal water pressure is expected to return only by 18 May.
Residents are thus urged to take necessary precautions to minimise the shutdown's impact.
NamWater apologised for the inconvenience and urged residents to use water sparingly during this period.
