Onhuno 'killer' cop denied bail
Dimbulukeveni Kondjeni Namhila (43) appeared in the Ohangwena Magistrate's Court this afternoon for the alleged murder of Shilongo Eliud Hamukwaya (38).
According to the police report, Namhila, a police officer, allegedly shot the deceased at the Onhuno checkpoint after an argument on Sunday night.
Hamukwaya was shot whilst in a truck.
Namhila was denied bail by Magistrate Vennecky Mumbala, who remanded the matter to 3 June for a further bail application.
