Namibia impresses at INDABA 2025 in Durban
Namibia is making a strong impression at Africa’s premier travel trade show, Africa’s Travel INDABA 2025, currently underway in Durban, South Africa.
The Namibia Tourism Board (NTB), in collaboration with a delegation of over 20 exhibitors, is actively promoting the country’s diverse and breathtaking tourism experiences at the three-day event from 13 to 15 May.
The prestigious trade show, organised by South African Tourism, brings together tourism professionals, destination marketers, service providers, and buyers from across the continent and beyond.
Engaging platform for buyers
This year’s Namibian delegation includes the Ministry of Environment and Tourism (MEFT) and a dynamic mix of established operators and emerging businesses.
Among the key exhibitors are Namibia Wildlife Resorts, FlyNamibia, Gondwana Collection, Ultimate Safaris, and nine micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMES) that received support from MEFT to attend.
The NTB hosted a vibrant “Networking with Namibia” B2B cocktail event at Durban’s Maharani Hotel on Wednesday evening.
The Namibian-themed reception provided an engaging platform for buyers, media, and Namibian suppliers to connect, exchange ideas, and explore future collaborations.
The event was part of broader efforts to promote Namibia’s unique travel experiences, including its vast landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and sustainable tourism practices.
NTB officials described their participation as a valuable opportunity to strengthen Namibia’s visibility in competitive travel markets and to foster partnerships that could drive growth in the country’s tourism sector.
