Police in the Kavango West Region have opened an inquest following the death of a 20-year-old man who allegedly died after a horse he was riding hit a road sign.
According to a police report, the incident took place last Sunday at Dema village at around 20:30.
It is further reported that the deceased - who has been identified as Sindiki Kambweti - sustained a cut to the upper leg, which led to him bleeding to death.
His next of kin have been informed. Police investigations continue.
