Kids aged 3 and 4 dead from food poisoning

Two children aged 3 and 4 have died after reportedly consuming mwanza, a traditional root tuber, in Korokoko village in the Kavango East Region.
Police Deputy Commissioner Bonifatius Kanyetu said the children fell ill along with five other family members after eating the meal on Saturday afternoon. Symptoms, including vomiting and weakness, began later that day. The two children died at home at around 01:00 on Sunday.
Six survivors, including two children and four adults, are being treated at Nyangana District Hospital and are in stable condition.
An investigation has been launched to determine the exact cause of death.
