Goreangab Mall opens after N$270 million investment

Hundreds of Goreangab residents flocked to the newly opened Goreangab Mall this week as the long-awaited retail development officially opened its doors. The N$270 million project is a strategic partnership between Oryx Properties Limited and Safland Property Group and is expected to boost economic activity in one of Windhoek's busiest residential areas. According to Safland Property Group marketing manager Rhodes Bessinger, the mall will offer residents a convenient shopping destination while creating new opportunities for businesses and consumers. The development created about 700 jobs, including 340 during construction and 360 permanent positions now that the mall is operational, providing a significant employment boost to the community.
