Businessman mauled to death by lion

The Namibian police have confirmed that a well-known Namibian businessman, Bernd Kebbel (59), was killed by a lion last week.
Kebbel, the former owner of Off-Road Centre and a figure known in desert lion research circles, was camping in the Hoanib River area near Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp with his wife, Conny, and a group of friends.
Kebbel reportedly climbed down from his rooftop tent early in the morning when a lioness attacked him and killed him.
