JUST IN: Sendelingsdrift border post, pontoon reopens
South African National Parks has announced that the Sendelingsdrift border post and pontoon at |Ai-|Ais/Richtersveld Transfrontier Park officially reopened today.
Sendelingsdrift serves as a border post to cross into Namibia from South Africa.
The border post and pontoon will operate seven days a week from 08:00 until 16:15 daily after being closed for three years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
|Ai-|Ais/Richtersveld Transfrontier Park manager Priscilla Magerman said they are overjoyed with the reopening of the border post and pontoon as this will expand accessibility and inspire movement to the park.
