JUST IN: NWR Boplaas campsite temporarily closed

Namibia Wildlife Resorts has announced that the Boplaas campsite, located in the /Ai-/Ais Richtersveld Transfrontier Park along the Orange River in the //Karas Region, will temporarily close effective today.
The temporary closure is due to security and infrastructure upgrades. All confirmed clients will, for now, be moved to Ai-Ais Resort. Boplaas campsite will reopen again on 1 November.
Recently, a robbery occurred at Boplaas campsite, where two groups of tourists, one from Namibia and the other from South Africa, were robbed of their belongings.
