‘Candid Conversations with Robyn’ is set to launch next month, as television presenter and media personality Robyn Nakaambo prepares to release her new podcast aimed at sharing inspirational and authentic stories from experts across various Namibian industries.

The first episode will air on 2 March, with new episodes scheduled for release during the first week of every month.

The aim, Nakaambo said, is to “encourage the audience to aspire to reach for the stars regardless of circumstances".

She told tjil: “As a purpose-driven media personality and a woman in the corporate world, I wanted to create a platform to connect deeply with my audience."

Nakaambo added that a podcast is the best way to network with industry leaders while simultaneously inspiring and motivating listeners and viewers.

The debut podcast, titled ‘Personal Brand Strategy', features Desmond Nikanor, a seasoned strategist and columnist.

“His intriguing story will spark vigour towards rebranding oneself in order to achieve personal goals and will guide the audience towards conducting a personal audit and putting a strategy in place to enrich oneself," Nakaambo explained.

Edge of your seat

Asked about future subjects, Nakaambo said she intends to keep audiences on the edge of their seats, revealing only that upcoming topics will be topical and “aimed at igniting greatness in the audience”.

Nakaambo describes the project as a culmination of her passions, saying it is deeply personal.

The team behind the production includes Reggie Films, which handles videography, and Black Photography, which will capture behind-the-scenes candid moments.

The podcast will be uploaded to her official YouTube page under the name Robyn Nakaambo.

Nakaambo said the aim is to bridge generational gaps by igniting meaningful conversations, targeting a broad audience, from high school learners seeking inspiration to older listeners drawing lessons from the challenges and triumphs shared by her guests.
