33% of all active SIM cards registered

The Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia (CRAN) said nearly 925 000 SIM cards had already been registered by 30 September. This means 33% of active SIM cards nationwide have been registered, totalling a 3% growth in registration since June.

UCOM Mobile Namibia is the only telecommunications company that has already registered all 1 113 of its active SIM cards. Paratus is moving closer to this goal with 5 152 of 5 437 active SIM cards registered.
