Top Score tourney excites participants

Players and coaches who gathered at the Top Score Seven-A-Side competition in Windhoek expressed gratitude towards event organisers. The Top Score Seven-A-Side competition commenced on Friday evening at the Ramblers Sports field with several corporate teams battling for the ultimate N$13 000 winning prize. The tournament will be played throughout the month of February, with Top Score having committed over N$150 000 towards the event as about 52 teams compete for top honours and bragging rights.“We are grateful that Top Score has once again given the teams and players and opportunity to play. We are the defending champions of this competition known as Harambee and my bet will definitely be on my team. “I am calling on the nation to come and support this tournament given that there is so much talent on display here,” Geoffrey Roman said. A team player from Agra said he was also excited even though his team still need to work on their fitness levels. “Covid kept us restricted but we got the opportunity to play at this tournament and we definitely want to win it. “There are fitness concerns from our players but I am sure that the guys will be able to deliver,” he said.
