The Fifa Normalisation Committee yesterday announced the appointment of Paulus Shipanga as the head coach of the women's national team, the Brave Gladiators.
Shipanga is tasked to prepare the team for the Cosafa Cup taking place from 31 August to 11 September in Durban, South Africa.
He added that the squad has 4 to 5 weeks to prepare for the tournament. “We will use every second, minute a day to get ready. It won’t be easy.”
Shipanga holds CAF B and C Licenses and has been head coach of various clubs over the years having won the Namibia Premiership with Black Africa during the 2018-2019 football season.
