Ndyenge’s 6mo9 goes international
Former Namibian footballer Alfie Ndyenge, and the owner of 6mo9, one of Africa’s fast-growing sports brands and manufacturers, has secured a three-year sponsorship deal with The Cranes, Uganda’s national netball team.
The 6mo9 sportswear brand has rapidly grown and is well on its way to becoming a brand to be reckoned with.
Ndyenge said he is extremely grateful to the president of the Uganda Netball Federation, Sarah Babirye Kito, and her team, for trusting the branding and owning it as Africa’s own, made by Africans for Africans.
When asked why The Cranes, Ndyenge said the country is the pearl of Africa: "There’s no other place to introduce this stylishly designed and uniquely produced brand."
"I feel at home in Uganda. What we bring to Uganda is one of its kind and surely, we are in this to shoot to the top of Africa with the Cranes," he added.
He said 6mo9 refers to the effects of change in a positive and motivating manner in all spheres. The hand logo symbolises the giving and receiving hand at the same time.
