CVA League highlights strong teams

The second round of the Central Volleyball Association (CVA) League began on 17 June and will conclude on 12 August. A number of matches for men and women were played at the Windhoek Show Grounds on Saturday.Andreas Engombe has been the coach of the Namibian Defence Force (NDF) A Volleyball Club since the beginning of the year. He says the men’s team is outstanding in its technique as they have mostly recorded wins since the second round took off.“We only lost one match against the Khomas Nampol Volleyball Club, which is one of the teams we are competing against,” he said.Easy winEngombe was happy with the performance on Saturday morning after his men’s team managed to win their first match of the day against the Namibia University of Science and Technology (Nust) Eliminators. NDF took the match by three sets to nil.Afterwards, the NDF team celebrated their victory and happily shared their experiences. Engombe said for his team, it felt as a warm up.
