Bakkie bursts into flames

A vehicle caught fire yesterday near Mburuuru village in Kavango West. According to Namibian Police Chief Inspector Raimbert Muronga, the driver was transporting goods to a farm when, about 8 km from the village, the vehicle suddenly burst into flames. It was destroyed beyond repair. The driver reported that the fire started underneath the rear section of the car, though the exact cause remains unknown. No fatalities or injuries were recorded, as all occupants managed to escape unharmed. The vehicle belonged to Flolindu Masati.
