FOR GRASSROOT DEVELOPMENT: The Momentum NSSU School Rugby League, powered by My Zone, was officially launched yesterday at the Hage Geingob Stadium in Windhoek, marking the start of a new four-year sponsorship cycle. Financial services giant Momentum, a long-standing partner of the championship, has committed to backing the competition from 2026 to 2029, with My Zone coming on board as a partner.

The popular school rugby competition attracted a 4.5 million TV and online audience during the 2025 season, underlining its growing national footprint and commercial appeal. Yesterday’s launch also featured the unveiling of new playing kits by participating school teams ahead of the upcoming season.
