More athletes are expected to depart for the games over the coming days for the international multi-sport event scheduled for 28 July to 8 August.

Namibia will be represented in athletics, bowls, gymnastics, swimming, triathlon, para-sport, and cycling. Xavier Xapo, who is part of the cycling team, said all is set for the games and preparations have gone extremely well.
