NIIHA crowns inline winners

Namibia Ice and Inline Hockey Association (NIIHA) hosted its championships, crowning winners across the various age categories in its final event of the year. The season closed out with a buzz at the MTC Dome in Swakopmund last weekend.The tournament featured semi-finals and finals across the women’s masters to the U8 divisions. The top four teams from each section advanced to the finals to compete for top honours.Although NIIHA currently has only four clubs, some clubs fielded multiple teams per division, keeping the competition intense.Kamikaze Inline Hockey Club led the pack this year, winning five of the eleven divisions. Coastal Pirates Inline Hockey Club claimed three titles, Badgers Inline Hockey Club took two, and Scorpions Inline Hockey Club captured the U12 championship.NIIHA described the tournament as “an incredible weekend of hockey, sportsmanship and fun.”“We are looking forward to next season.
