Namport //Kharas Football Region League heading into final stretch

Quiver FC is leading the race in the Coastal Stream, while Forever Thistles FC and Spiders FC are setting the pace in the Inland Stream of the Namport //Kharas Football Region Leagues.
Quiver remains undefeated with 19 points from seven matches (six wins and one draw), having built an eight-point lead over second-placed Atlanta Bucs, who sit on 11 points (three wins, two draws and two defeats). Youngsters are in third place with 10 points, followed by NovaNam (nine points), Mountain Rangers (six points) and Men United at the bottom of the log with two points.
In the Inland Stream, Forever Thistles and Spiders are level on 13 points at the top of the table. Thistles occupy first place, having played six matches (four wins, one draw and one loss), with a game in hand and a superior goal difference. Spiders have played seven matches (four wins, one loss and two draws). Orange Rangers are third with 11 points, followed by Keetmanshoop United (eight points), Brazilie (five points) and bottom-placed Real Fighters with four points.
“This weekend we have two games in Rosh Pinah and four games each in Lüderitz and Noordoewer. There is also a game scheduled for Keetmanshoop on Saturday,” confirmed Zayne Beukes, regional secretary of the Namport //Kharas Football Region. Two matches will take place in Keetmanshoop on Wednesday, with all league fixtures to conclude over the weekend of 28 and 29 June.
“Keetmanshoop will host two matches and Noordoewer one on 28 June. Lüderitz will host three games on 29 June. After that, the winner of the Coastal Stream — contested by teams from Lüderitz and Rosh Pinah — will face the winner of the Inland Stream — contested by teams from Keetmanshoop and Noordoewer. The champion will represent the region in the Southern Stream First Division play-offs,” Beukes explained.

Third Division: Youngsters and Ekanda drew 2–2; Atlantic beat Rush Ups 3–1.
