Isaacs pleads for patience

The gap between two of Namibia's renowned premier league clubs has widened as African Stars proved too strong for Black Africa in the Debmarine Namibia Premiership over the weekend.
Black Africa coach Brian Isaacs says his players will need at least three more weeks before they can fully adapt to Premier League football.
This after Black Africa was massacred 6-1 at the Unam Stadium on Saturday in the Debmarine Namibia Premiership.
"As I said earlier, the team that we played is like the national team, and my players are young and inexperienced.
"African Stars have so much experience and quality players that they can even represent the national team.
"The players need at least four weeks in terms of training in order to make them competitive," Isaacs said after the match.
Bounce back
As they have done for most of their games, African Stars started off by grabbing an early goal through their defender Charles Hambira, who headed home from close range.
African Stars made sure that their rivals were neutralised even before they could think of a plan B.
After that goal, Black Africa never recovered and conceded six before earning a consolation in the second half.
"We conceded an early goal, which demoralised the players, and they just never recovered from that.
"As I said, the team does need time, and I am sure that the boys will manage to bounce back and challenge the bigger teams in the near future," Isaacs said.
Recovery period needed
Black Africa are one of Namibia’s most successful clubs, having won back-to-back Premier League titles.
The club has, however, not fully recovered from the long pause in the game.
The coach nevertheless remains optimistic that Black Africa will return to its glory days in the near future.
