Five-a-side football up next
The 9th edition of the MML Court League will start on 30 July to 20 August at Eros Park in Windhoek.
The aim of the league is to provide an entrepreneurial atmosphere involving small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and corporates with the event centred on the five-a-side court football tournament which is free for the general public to attend.
One of the organisers, Vernon Fenyeho, said the tournament will further promote a variation of football played in the various neighbourhoods around Windhoek and will also promote social interaction and an entrepreneurial platform.
He added that the event will run on Saturdays only.
“We would be beyond pleased to receive full coverage from the local media. We shall receive the entire media team with open arms and hope that this is a unique initiative that could spice up your sports sections," he said.
