Chase eyes glory at World Champs

One of the country’s rising triathletes, Nathan Chase (17) from Windhoek, departed yesterday for the Xterra World Championships in Molveno, Italy, which will take place from Thursday to Sunday. The national triathlon federation confirmed that this is the second year the championships will include a Junior (18 to 19 years) and Youth B (16 to 17 years) division. More than 126 male athletes from 23 nations are set to compete in the 750 m swim, 16 km trail ride and 5 km trail run. PHOTO CONTRIBUTED
