Champion vs champion showdown slated for Denmark
Paulinus “John John” Ndjolonimu has arrived in Kolding, Denmark, ahead of his WBC Super Middleweight World Title Eliminator against Jacob Bank, set for Saturday, 25 April at Sydbank Arena.
Ndjolonimu is accompanied by his trainer Nicky Natangue and promoter Nestor Tobias, with the camp reporting that the Namibian boxer is in good shape and high spirits as fight week begins.
The bout is a must-win for John John, with a potential world title opportunity on the line, making it one of the most important fights of his professional career to date.
The team has since settled in Denmark and is now fully focused on final preparations ahead of what is widely regarded as the toughest test of Ndjolonimu’s career so far.
His opponent, Jacob Bank, enters the contest on the back of a high-profile victory over William Scull and will be aiming to strengthen his own case for a world title shot.
Ndjolonimu brings a record of 20 wins, 18 by knockout, and just one defeat, underlining his reputation as one of Namibia’s most dangerous finishers. Bank, meanwhile, remains unbeaten in 18 professional fights, with 10 victories coming by knockout.
The fight will be streamed live on DAZN, accessible via smart TVs, smartphones, tablets, and web browsers. Broadcast is expected to begin at around 19:00 on Saturday, 25 April 2026.
With Denmark and Namibia sharing the same time zone (UTC+2) during this period, fans in both countries will witness the action simultaneously as Ndjolonimu steps into the ring for a career-defining night.
