Namibia’s Brave Gladiators ended fourth at the just-ended Cosafa Women’s Championship after losing 2-1 to Tanzania in the third and fourth place playoff. Namibia’s journey at the tournament saw them losing their first match 2-0 to Zambia before beating Eswatini 5-1. The Gladiators then saw off Lesotho with a 2-0 victory, which enabled them a best runners-up finish out of the three groups.
