Workshop encourages healthier views of masculinity
NEWS IN SHORT
Erongo police hosted a male engagement workshop yesterday in Walvis Bay, focusing on masculinity and gender-based violence.
“This workshop is a call to action, a commitment to change, and an opportunity to better understand and combat one of the most pressing issues of our time," Deputy Commissioner Erastus Iikuyu said.
Under the theme 'Redefining Masculinity', the workshop promoted a holistic approach to well-being, encouraging healthier, more inclusive understandings of masculinity and how these contribute to a safer and more supportive society.
