Villagers demand action over deadly crocodile attacks
NEWS IN SHORT
Kamutjonga residents in the Mukwe constituency, Kavango East, staged a peaceful demonstration on Friday over an increase in crocodile attacks that have claimed human lives and livestock. They called for urgent government action to address human-wildlife conflict. Councillor Damian Maghambayi, who received the petition, said the issue has persisted for years and urged the environment ministry to establish an emergency response team.
