Usakos, NHE to tackle housing needs

The Usakos Town Council signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Housing Enterprise (NHE) on Tuesday. The agreement aims to benefit two informal settlements in Usakos – Saamstaan and Ongulumbashe – by providing over 1 500 residents with access to low-cost housing loans through the NHE. "This partnership aims to bring affordable, dignified and sustainable housing to our community, ensuring that every resident, from young families to pensioners, can live in a safe and serviced environment," the council stated.
