Two injured after vehicle hit cattle
Two passengers were injured last night after a sedan hit some cattle along the Rundu–Nkurenkuru road near Mile 20 village around 19:52 on Wednesday. The sedan was travelling from Rundu when it struck the two cattle, leaving the vehicle damaged. The 45-year-old driver from Walvis Bay was not injured. The two passengers are a 42-year-old woman, who sustained a minor leg injury, and a 17-year-old boy, who suffered a head injury. Both were transported to Rundu Intermediate Hospital for treatment. Kavango West Police Regional Commander Julia Sakuwa-Neo says livestock straying onto roads continues to pose a serious risk to motorists in the region.
