TransNamib crew finds dead man on railway line near Karibib
A TransNamib crew discovered the body of an unidentified man on the railway line just outside Karibib on Thursday at around 21:40.
Police said the man may have been struck by a train.
He was described as a slender black male of average height with short hair, wearing a maroon or red long-sleeved shirt and dark blue cotton trousers. He was barefoot and had no identification documents.
The body was taken to the Usakos State Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem.
Police are urging anyone with a missing relative or friend matching the description to contact the nearest station, Deputy Commissioner Erastus Iikuyu on 081 246 4757, or Detective Inspector Shashipapo Muduva on 081 213 7799.
