Tjivikua appointed Roads Authority CEO

The Roads Authority (RA) has announced the appointment of Mbahupu Hippy Tjivikua as its new chief executive officer, effective 1 January 2026.
According to an internal notice issued by RA board chairperson Martins Kambulu, Tjivikua’s appointment will include a one-month transition period to ensure a smooth handover before the current CEO, Dr Conrad Lutombi, concludes his term at the end of December.
“The Board is confident that his expertise and vision will continue to propel the RA forward in delivering on its mandate,” Kambulu said.
The notice further expressed appreciation to Lutombi for his leadership, dedication, and significant contributions during his tenure.
