Suspect on the run after death of child

A gruesome killing has shocked the community of Kahoro village after a four-year-old girl was fatally struck with a spade on Sunday.
Police Chief Inspector Raimbert Muronga said the child was among a group of youngsters playing in the suspect’s homestead when the incident occurred. The suspect allegedly swung a spade to chase the children away, hitting the girl on the head and killing her instantly.
The suspect, an adult Namibian man known in the village, fled the scene and remains at large.
Police have launched a manhunt and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
