Strand Hotel marks decade anniversary

O&L Leisure recently has marked the 10th anniversary of the Strand Hotel Swakopmund, celebrating a decade since the landmark beachfront property re-opened its doors on the Mole.

Since its launch in 2015, the Strand has become one of Namibia’s most awarded coastal destinations, earning the title of “Namibia’s Leading Beach Hotel” at the World Travel Awards for three consecutive years from 2022 to 2024. O&L Leisure Managing Director Sven Thieme said they have renovate restaurants and elevated every aspect of the guest experience. He also mentioned hosting international figures including Tom Cruise, King Philippe of Belgium and Will Smith.
