The police have urged the public to stop flocking to the criminal record bureau office in Ausspannplatz to collect certificates of conduct, saying the practice is causes unnecessary congestion.

In a public notice, the police clarified that applicants must collect their documents from the same police stations where they submitted their applications.

“The processing of such certificates normally takes up to ten working days. Members of the public are therefore urged to be patient and wait for the process to be finalised,” the statement read.

The police expressed appreciation for the public’s cooperation and called for adherence to the collection guidelines to ensure smooth service delivery.
