SSC encourages youth to submit viable proposals

SSC encouraged young people to submit viable proposals for possible support, while AgriBank highlighted available financing opportunities for entrepreneurs. The call was made this week when Grootfontein youth raised concerns over limited access to development opportunities after an information-sharing session revealed that no youth upliftment projects in the town have received funding from the Social Security Commission (SSC). Local youth organisations organised the meeting, but invited representatives from the Ministry of Education, Land Reform and the Grootfontein Constituency Office were absent.
