Soldier allegedly kills girlfriend, himself

The police yesterday confirmed that a Namibian soldier, Abner Shilemba (33), shot and killed Justine Metumo Nelenge (34), who police suspect was his girlfriend.

He also reportedly shot and injured a 54-year-old male, also a member of the defence force, in Windhoek West on Monday night. He then turned the gun on himself.
