Sinonge wins Swapo Rundu Urban elections
Sitefanus Sinonge secured a decisive victory in the race to the Rundu Urban constituency and represent Swapo in the November regional council elections.
He garnered 167 votes, defeating Vicky Kauna and Annalisa Muranda, who received 27 and 26 votes respectively.
Fransiska Hausiku led the women’s list with 114 votes, followed by Regina Nekare with 105 votes and Angaleni Kangayi with 95.
Among male candidates, Andreas Jikerwa topped the list with 133 votes. Joseph Kamakende followed closely with 131, while Simon Haingura secured 124 votes.
