Sinchembe wins Katima Mulilo Swapo ticket

Denis Mukena Sinchembe and his supporters celebrated a landslide victory of 104–45, which ended incumbent Warden Simushi's 15-year reign as the Katima Mulilo Rural Constituency councillor and Zambezi Regional Council chairperson. The Ministry of Information and Communication Technology Zambezi regional office confirmed the outcome on its social media platforms this week, noting that Swapo will now field Sinchembe as its candidate for the November regional and local authorities elections.
