Shorts: Telecom announces service- interrupting maintenance work
Telecom Namibia has begun planned maintenance work affecting several regions, including Erongo, Otjozondjupa, Oshikoto, Kavango West, Kavango East, and Zambezi.
The maintenance, which started on 18 July, is scheduled to run until Wednesday this week, with completion expected by 00:00.
The state-owned telecommunications provider has warned of intermittent disruptions, particularly to voice and data services.
“We’ve specifically scheduled this maintenance during overnight hours to minimise disruption to your daily activities,” Telecom Namibia said in a public notice.
