Windhoek mayor Ndeshihafela Larandja inaugurated a new sanitation hub in Mix informal settlement yesterday. The facility, partly funded through the 2024 Windhoek Vivo Energy Marathon, features toilets, urinals, and a water point designed to enhance hygiene and improve living standards in the community.

The new hub represents a significant step forward in addressing longstanding sanitation challenges. It not only provides essential services but also reflects a commitment to uplift the settlement through collaboration between local authorities, businesses, and the wider community.
