SHORT NEWS: Inambao said Willemse hid in the toilet to avoid arrest

ACC lead investigator Oberty Inambao last week told the Windhoek Magistrate\'s Court that Namcor-Enercon corruption accused Cornelius Willemse hid in his house for nearly two hours when officers arrived to arrest him. Inambao said Willemse was eventually found in the bathroom after an ACC officer jumped over a wall and noticed movement inside. The investigator responded to Willemse’s defence lawyer, Boris Isaacks, saying: “He didn’t hide under the bed — of course there’s no way he would fit under there. He hid in the bathroom, and it was only after we threatened to use force that he finally cracked and let us in.”
