SHORT: Danger does it again - birthes 17 puppies

Staff Reporter
Katutura’s most prolific pooch, Danger – a furry resident of the Ombili location – has done it again. Just six months after making headlines for giving birth to an astonishing 17 puppies, she repeated the feat last night with another bumper batch of 17 tiny tail-waggers. Yes, that’s 34 puppies in half a year.

Sadly, not all news is paw-sitive. Two newborns didn’t survive the cold snap, and Danger’s devoted caretaker, Paul, is scrambling to care for the remaining 15.

“The little money we have just isn’t enough to feed all of them,” he said.

Anyone willing to lend a paw (or a paw-sionate donation of dog food or puppy milk) is urged to contact Paul at 081 446 2644.

Last year, the Namibian Animal Welfare Association (NAWA) swooped in like the superheroes they are, providing milk and support. The owner was also offered free sterilisation, but refused the offer. Here's hoping they – or some kind-hearted souls – can rally again.
