Public urged to help identify men in child abuse video

The police have issued an urgent public appeal to help identify two men shown in a widely circulated video appearing to assault a toddler.

Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi, a police spokesperson, urged anyone with information to come forward.

“Crimes against children are taken very seriously. The law protects children, and such acts of abuse cannot and will not be tolerated,” Shikwambi said.

Anyone who recognises the men can contact investigators on 081 3032456 or 081 2044453. Shikwambi assured that all information provided would be treated with the strictest confidentiality.
